Major closures on Fred Hartman Bridge set for this weekend

Drivers should expect major delays and plan alternate routes due to a significant closure set for the Fred Hartman Bridge this weekend.

A full southbound freeway closure is planned beginning 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, according to officials with the city of Baytown. Drivers are encouraged to detour by taking SPUR 330 North to IH-10 West; then IH-10 West to IH-610 South; IH-610 South to SH 225 East. Other closures are set for the SH 146 Southbound main lanes and Missouri St. (Baytown) to 225; as well as BS 146/ SH 99 Westbound

From Wyoming St to SH 146, including the connector ramp from BS 146 West to SH 146 South.
